Good intentions are not good enough

You can't test destiny cautiously.Don't play for safety- it's the most dangerous thing in the world. The key is this : to forfeit the safety of what we are for what we could become.Unless you do something beyond what you have already done,you will never grow.
A definition of "mediocrity": best of the worst and worst of the best."Potential" means you haven't done your best yet. Good intentions are like checks that men try to draw from a bank where they have no account. Every mediocre person has good intentions.It's been said that the biggest enemy of great is good. Don't accept good enough as good enough. Tolerating  mediocrity in others make me more mediocre.Only an average person is always at his best.

A man can't make a place for himself in the sun if he keeps taking refuge under the family tree. Go! Launch out! People who never do any more that they get paid for never get paid for any more than they do.An over-cautious person burns bridges of opportunity before he gets to them.Most of the people who sit around and wait for the harvest haven't planted anything.The average man doesn't want much and usually gets even less.
One action is more valuable than a thousand good intentions.Security is mostly a superstition.It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure.Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing
