Can God Save Me From Depression?

Throughout the year many people face unique and difficult challenges.They don't know why they struggle while others seem unaffected.If this is your struggle, I want you to hear this, Jesus cares for you.

I feel like God hates Me

A farmer had a weather vane on his barn, on which was written "God is Love." When friends asked why, the farmers said," This is to remind me that no matter which way the wind blows, God is love."

When the warm "south wind" with its soothing and balmy breezes brings showers of blessing, God is love." Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above" (James 1: 17).

The Original Sin

Two gardens are mentioned prominently in the Bible: the garden of Eden and the garden of Gethsemane. God placed the first man, Adam, in the garden of Eden; Jesus went into Gethsemane to restore what the first man had lost.

The first Adam sinned in the garden;the last Adam took this sin upon Himself.The garden of Eden had the tree of life, which man could have enjoyed forever had he not broken fellowship with God.

Don't ask time where it's gone;tell it where to go

All great achiever,all successful people, are those who have been able to gain control over their time.It has been said that all human beings have been created equal in one respect;each person has been given 24 hours in each day.

We need to choose to give our best time to our best challenging situation.It's not how much we do that matters;it's how much we get done.We should choose to watch our time,not our watch.One of the best time savers is the ability to say no.

Don't Spend Your life standing at the complaint counter

The person who is always finding faults seldom finds anything else.Live your life as an exclamation, not an explanation.Any complainer will tell you that success is nothing but luck.Children are born optimists, and the world slowly tries to educate them out of their "delusion".
The fact is, the more you complain the less you will obtain.A life of complaining is an ultimate rut.The only difference between a rut and a grave is the timing.A complaining spirit is first a caller,then a guest and finally a master.

When you are Green with envy,you are ripe with problems

One of the most valuable decisions we can make is not compare our own lives with what is happening in other people's lives.What happens in someone else's life has nothing to do with what God is doing in yours.God loves you just as much as he loves others. Every time we put our eyes on other people, we take our eyes off God.

Good intentions are not good enough

You can't test destiny cautiously.Don't play for safety- it's the most dangerous thing in the world. The key is this : to forfeit the safety of what we are for what we could become.Unless you do something beyond what you have already done,you will never grow.
A definition of "mediocrity": best of the worst and worst of the best."Potential" means you haven't done your best yet. Good intentions are like checks that men try to draw from a bank where they have no account. Every mediocre person has good intentions.It's been said that the biggest enemy of great is good. Don't accept good enough as good enough. Tolerating  mediocrity in others make me more mediocre.Only an average person is always at his best.
