Christians Must Expand Their Horizons

We all live under the same sky, but we don’t all have the same horizon. Leaders always see the bigger picture. Expanding your horizons mean being able to see the greater potential that’s all around you.
The world’s demands don’t control the Christian’s supply. Don’t be afraid to take a big step if one is indicated. You cannot cross a chasm in two small jumps. Aim at the sun and you may not reach it, but your arrow will fly far higher than if you aim at an object on a level as yourself.
A woman’s horizons were changed forever when she came up to Joey in a restaurant and ask him to scribble something on her napkin. She said she would be happy to pay him whatever he felt it was worth.
Joey did what she asked and then said, “That would be $20,000,”  “But you only did that in thirty seconds,” the woman exclaimed.” No,” Joey said, “it has taken me forty years to do that.”
“If the Son of God therefore shall make you freely shall be free indeed” (John 8:36). Jesus brings freedom, and freedom releases you to think and see higher. Vision is the art of seeing things that are unseen.
If what you did yesterday still looks big to you, you haven’t done much today. You will never learn faith in easy circumstances. When God stretches you, you never snap back to your original shape. He who is afraid of doing much always does too little. Make sure the road you’re on is not leading to a cul-de-sac.
Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore. That’s why Jesus said , “Launch out into the deep!” (Luke 5:4). Unless you try to see beyond what you have already seen, you will never grow.
