Jesus died so that we could be free today. Nobody can live a perfect life, so he created an avenue where we can be forgiven when we sin. Before he died people where living under a law. There were certain laws they must follow. When people broke them, they had to confess to a priest who would then take it to God. Jesus died so that this could be changed. Instead of going to a priest we can go directly to him and ask him for forgiveness. So now there is no law but we have grace.
The main reason why someone would give his life for you and I who weren’t even o n earth as yet is as a result of the incomparable love he has for us. We are his children and his love never ceases. Jesus knew before hand that many of us would deny him, but he still loved us.
Jesus wants you to accept him and live a life that pleases him so that when you die, you can be with him. He has a place prepared for every single one of us, but unfortunately not every one of us will make it there. Many of us still do not believe that he is our savior. It’s hard to believe what you cannot see right? Well that’s what faith is. We all have faith that we will wake up in the morning but it’s so hard to believe that Jesus is real.
Jesus will be coming back soon and many will be surprised. They will want to accept him then but it will be too late. We all have time now to accept him. It’s still not too late.
